"William Burroughs, Ken Kesey, Jack Kerouac, Camus; all books were just as exciting to us as records, there wasn't much difference." - Richey Edwards, 1991
That is a bit of a corker, isn't it? And I'm loving the energetic French audience.
ReplyDeleteI see I'm not the only one who picked up on the "Action" feel to this, it's that Rickenbacker...there's been loads of French 60's Melody postings on YouTube as of late, some great stuff...sceen the live version of "Getaway" compered by Emperor Rosko yet?
ReplyDeleteThe Rickenbacker, the harmonies, the arrangement... They do add that cool little organ break in it the Action wouldn't have had but it's very close.
