This rather wonderful Georgie Fame single, performed here
in Offenbach, Germany, reached a respectable number 15 in the UK singles chart
in March 1967. Written by Georgie and John Shakespeare, I’m unable to ascertain
with any certainty who penned the immortal line, “You look so good, I’m
touching wood”. Whoever it was, take a bow.
