MONKEY’S WANDERING WIRELESS SHOW… RISES AGAIN

Helloooooo, is anyone out theerrre?

Dunno if this thing is active anymore - had even forgotten about it myself - but if this reaches you then you may, possibly, be ecstatic to learn I’ve rekindled the ole Wireless Show.

Apart from an improved microphone there’s not much change, the content is what you came to cherish back yonder: borderless music from across the globe and decades aimed at the heart and feet.

Hope you’re all well. Stay positive comrades, we have our books and our poetry to protect us...

New Series! Whoop! 🙌🏽

  2. Ah! Lovely to hear from you! Honestly didn’t know if this was still pushing things out. Been a couple of years. All fine here. Hope things are with you too. Enjoy the show - thank you!

  4. I was only checking out a couple of posts on here this morning (Impressions @ The Barbican and Ace Records releases) and happened upon this post.
Ironic as I was just thinking "Wonder what happened to Monkey Picks?"
Where can I hear the Wireless Show please?
Wishing you well, always enjoyed your contributions to Twitter back in the day.

  5. Ah, that’s really nice, thank you Mick. Appreciate those words. Click on the link above that says “Whoop!..” and it’ll send you to the Mixcloud page. Sorry, didn’t really make it clear in post - out of practice!

  6. Thanks for the tech tip, latest show. Have now listened in full and enjoyed the diversity. Good to hear a couple of tunes that set me searching my collection to hear them again, specifically Jimmy Ruffin and Jonathan Richman. Pedal steel was one of the last things I had expected to hear pre listening to the show.
    Nice work Sir!
